Mountain Retreat

Above the Known World

Morning light settles on the ridgelines of the mountains beyond the window. Days move between village walks, high-desert hikes, and quiet evenings by the fire. Spa rituals and warm massages ease the body, until the Himalayas stop feeling like a backdrop and begin to feel like home.

Everest from the Sky with a Celebrated Sherpa

Mount Everest feels as though it rests beneath your feet when a legendary Sherpa—her life etched into the Himalayas—guides you skyward. The chopper skims over blazing glaciers and endless white. In your headset, her summit stories unfold so vivid, you feel the exhilaration and triumph yourself.

Plan Your Visit

When to Go

Peak Season

October – November & March – May

The finest conditions for trekking and mountain views. Autumn brings crystal clarity after the monsoon — Everest, Annapurna, and Ama Dablam razor-sharp against deep blue skies. Spring brings rhododendron forests in bloom and the energy of Himalayan expedition season.

Shoulder Season

December – February

Cold at altitude but remarkably clear. The trails are quiet, the mountain views uninterrupted, and Kathmandu’s temples and bazaars feel genuinely unhurried. A rewarding window for the right traveler.

Off Season

June – September

The monsoon brings lush, intensely green landscapes and dramatic light. Trekking is challenging on the main routes but the rain shadow regions — Mustang and Dolpo — remain largely dry and open. Not the conventional window, but extraordinary for those who know where to go.

Suggested Stay

10 – 14 Days

Ten days covers Kathmandu’s temples, a lodge trek in the Everest or Annapurna region, and time to simply be still in the mountains. Fourteen opens Mustang or Chitwan National Park — a different Nepal entirely.

Pairs Well With

Neighbouring Journeys

Nepal pairs naturally with Bhutan for a broader Himalayan journey, India for contrast and colour, or the Maldives as a perfect wind-down after the altitude and exertion of the mountains.
